We went into the game with a lot of ambition, but unfortunately we suffered a 5–0 defeat against Estonia.
Despite the result, there is a positive takeaway: our new Senior Coach now has a clear picture of the team’s current level and what needs to be worked on moving forward.

Luxembourg vs. Israel
Today showed a clear step forward for Team Luxembourg. The matches were much tighter than yesterday’s clash with the strong English team, with several opportunities to turn the momentum our way. 🔥
Noah was extremely close to taking a win, fighting point for point until the end.
And a big highlight: Yannick & Jérôme secured our first point of the tournament with a strong and confident doubles performance! 💪💥
The team spirit is high, the confidence is growing, and the players are ready for more.

🇪🇺 European Team Championships – Day 1 🇱🇺
A tough opening match today against a very strong England team, ending in a 5–0 defeat. Despite the scoreline, our players delivered several promising performances and showed great fighting spirit on court. 💪
Our newcomers also had to go through the traditional team initiation. After the “creative” hair-coloring attempt didn’t quite work out 😄, they proudly carried the Luxembourgish colours on their faces for their debut match. True team spirit! 🔴⚪🔵
Tomorrow we’re back on court for our next challenge — Israel awaits!

✨ Solo in El Salvador
After competing in Suriname and Guatemala, Jérôme Pauquet took on the VII El Salvador International 2025 solo, as his doubles partner and coach returned to Luxembourg after the Guatemala tournament.
Despite being on his own, Jérôme delivered an impressive run and reached the semi-finals! 🔥💪
Now it’s time to regroup:
Next stop — Tallinn, Estonia, where he’ll join the Men’s National Team next week for the European Teams Championship Qualifications.

Our players have been making their mark across Central and South America over the past two weeks!
➡️XVI Suriname International 2025
A strong start in Paramaribo where Yannick & Jérôme reached the quarterfinals in Men’s Doubles, showing solid teamwork and determination.
In Singles, Jérôme advanced through the first round of the main draw.
➡️Guatemala International Series 2025
The positive momentum continued in Guatemala as the pair pushed even further, reaching the semi-finals in Men’s Doubles — an excellent result ! 🔥
➡️ Next stop: El Salvador!
Jérôme continues his tour and will compete next week at the VII El Salvador International 2025.
